Hi there,

I have been using the plugin for quite a while and it always worked like a charm. great work!
an issue came up when i upgraded worpdress to 3.0 version, though. while I didn’t change anything else, category descriptions that looked great on my website before (with image, grey text… as it looks in the editor), now look very basic with black text, no image, no line-breaks.
is the plugin working with wordpress 3.0 ?! do i have to perform any manual change?

Yeah right. Previously, it failed to show image at each of category page. Then I take suggestion from Ronny too.

I had to get rid of my “Categories” menu for navigation all together. This may just help me re-introduce it back.

Could I know the main purpose of this plugin before I download it?

No offense. Sorry, this is only because I do not understand exactly what the main purpose of this plugin so that I want to figure it out clearly before download it. Screenshots above only show the Edit Category admin page, does not show the actual display on their blogs through a browser. I mean by watching the real appearance on the blog – not on the admin page – then I will figure out the real benefits. Could you provide the URL of the blogs that have appeared Category Description Editor, please? Thank you in advance.

I appreciate the effort that’s been put into this plugin, though it’s now too buggy with the newest WP for my uses.

I instead recommend using the Allow HTML in Category Descriptions plugin recommended below AND the plugin below, which does what the Category Description Editor used to do.

I was recently forced to upgrade to v2.9.2 for my company’s WP site. I think this version of WP doesn’t play well with v1.1 category description editor plugin. The pictures I insert into the categories still shows up on the admin side but when I go to the actual categories of my site, instead of a picture I just get a blank space. Help!

I tried pluging of the parameter in this direction but my parameters are not taken into account.

I even uninstall the pluging but still the hack ..persist

What files. Php must be changed to return to the previous situation.
